Negotiation and Compromise

Do you think that negotiation and compromise are two different elements? If yes why, and if not why ? Below I have expressed my thoughts regarding both the elements. All your views, ideas, opinions and responses are eagerly awaited. There is a difference between negotiation and compromise. Negotiation is like applying the right tactics at the right moment of time to get a favorable outcome. Compromise takes into the view the future that is uncertain, so compromise is related to strategy making. When there is a negotiation both parties are benefited. But when it comes to compromise things are different. This is because as an when there is a conflict between the employees and the management, it is policy that can be compromised, but in doing so the principles of the organization must not be affected. Thus negotiation and compromise are different.
