I'm not sure where to post this as this is an ethical issue as well as publishing false information. The article was written by a Yahoo Contributor, (don't let titles get your goat).  Although it was written  by a supposed qualified article writer,  it has false information.  How do I know? I've been a member of this program and know that earning is based on an algorithm. The statistics used are not known by the members. There are many days I only post one or two "quality" responses and yet do not earn a penny. That is fine with me. I'm there for the fun. Income is a side goody This is a ?copy and paste? of part of the article. Should anyone want the entire article I have it saved. I did not correct spelling or grammar. His assumption is that earning $10,000 is realistic is ??? There is also a lot of criticism by other my-lot members regarding this article. QUOTED "My-Lot is a paid to post social networking website that is free to join and compensates its members for things we are already doing on sites like Myspace and Facebook: Post pictures, start discussions, ask and answer questions, and complete tasks.  my Lot is a strange mixture of Yahoo! Answers, My space, Amazon MTURK, and a discussion forum all rolled into one.   my Lot's compensation structure is maintained as a secret but some of it is subtly hinted at sometimes. For example, myLot will pay anywhere between $0.01 to $0.10 per message, reply, picture, or so forth. However, the one thing for certain is that they will never, ever pay less than a penny as long as you keep your posts three to four sentences or more long and add detailed descriptions to your pictures. This how-to guide will show you how can you make some serious cash on myLot, how does $10,000 sound to you? I want you to first understand that many of the steps here are very difficult and daunting but if you have enough strength to complete them (and believe me, it will take a lot of strength), then the results will prove to be very fruitful. This how-to guide will be based on two things: One being the assumption that every post or reply that is longer than three sentences is equal to a penny. It is important to assume the bare minimum here because if you do that, you will never be disappointed because they will not pay you less than that, so think of it as a fail safe. Two is this little income chart below: Level 1: $0.01 x 10 posts = $0.10 Level 2: $0.01 x 100 posts = $1.00 Level 3: $0.01 x 1000 posts = $10.00 Level 4: $0.01 x 10,000 posts = $100.00 Level 5: $0.01 x 100,000 posts = $1000.00 Level 6: $0.01 x 1,000,000 posts = $10,000.00 All you need to do is focus on one level at a time. Beginning with level one, you will make a list of 10 interesting topics and discussions to post on myLot; alternatively, make a bookmark list of 10 discussions already on myLot that you're interesting in replying to. Either way, once the list is complete, take action and post/reply.? END QUOTE Patsy J Payne
