Vaishali is one of the busiest and well developed localities of Ghaziabad due to its proximity with Delhi and Noida. The origin of Vaishali dates back to 1976 when it was established as an integral part of the Sapta Sindu or 7 rivers that lie on the upper plains of the Ganges. The area has undergone a vast change due to the large constructions that have taken place in the recent past, keeping in mind the Commonwealth Games 2010 and the new Metro line. Vaishali has been largely developed by the GDA (Ghaziabad Development Authority), the area has changed immensely from what it was a decade ago and is quickly turning out to be a hub of activity.
