The layman may have no conscious for the difference of hot dip galvanized and cold galvanized steel springboard. What they need is the product can prevent corrosion. In fact, in scaffolding accessories, there is clear difference for two products in the long term use. For hot-dip galvanized steel springboard, the rust-removing steel springboard is immersed in a molten zinc solution with a temperature of about 500 degrees, so that a zinc layer is attached to the surface of the steel component. Under this treatment, we can get the goal of corrosion protection. While the cold galvanized steel spring-boaord would adopt the method of using a coating of zinc filler to protect the surface of the protected product. It would contains some zinc. Once the surface coating zinc is worn out, the surface of the steel springboard will soon be corroded and rusted. Through the comparison of the two processes, there is no doubt that hot one would have a long life service for cold one in long term use.
