The Science Of Getting Rich

I'm re-reading this book . One part in particular resonates strongly with me:
Every act is, in effect, either effective or inefficient.
Every inefficient act is a failure, and if yo spend your life doing inefficient acts, your whole life will be a failure.
On the other hand, every efficient is a success in itself, and if every act of your life is an efficient one, you whole life MUST be a success.
I understand this to mean that DOING many things without motive or goal is a wast of time. But if we do a a few things each day....to the best of our abilities....success is guaranteed.
