What's the difference between the affiliates who rake in $10,000 or more a month, and those who earn next to nothing?



Pre-selling. Those who earn a serious living from affiliate programs understand that there is more to success than just putting up a link. You have to be a marketing associate, and that means helping to pre-sell the product.



So what does this mean, exactly? Well, it means that you make an effort to show your visitors why the product or service represents a good buy. So you might run a review comparing it with other alternatives, or simple report on your own personal positive experiences.



Where space is limited, you might use something shorter such as 'We highly recommend...'



It's amazing what a difference a little pre-selling can do. Visitors then arrive at the merchant site warmed up and ready to purchase - so converting them to customers is easy.
