However, acute leukemias, particularly Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in adults and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in both adults and children, often progress rapidly and can lead to significant complications if not treated promptly. These complications may include infections, bleeding problems, and organ dysfunction. It's crucial for individuals with blood cancers to receive appropriate medical care and treatment to manage and reduce potential complications.
