This has become a new favorite of mine. Never mind the fact that the plot line is as stale as a 10 year old loaf of bread. Greedy corporation is destroying the environment to strip mine resources until the natives fight back. Yea been there done that but never in such a beautiful landscape. And the natives have never been 15 foot tall blue people with tails either. The visual effects are amazing.
The first time I saw it was in IMAX. It's okay on TV or DVD, but in IMAX It was positively breathtaking. You really felt like you were flying. Visually the movie is a work of art. It will be a while before anyone films something that beats it for the shear beauty of the scenery.
