Cooking is considered a craft or talent, I consider it an art form. It can be, many times with getting just the right recipe. I was going to create a group called Gourmet and maybe one of you might do that. I think I can only handle one group, looking down the road and anticipating growth.
To have a Delicious Weekend I am sharing the following recipe with you that a neighbour shared with me. He won a radio contest with it. It is super easy, tastes fab and definitely a keeper.
Spinach Casarole
Saute - ( I do it for only 5 minutes, so everything stays crunchy)
2 stalks of celery
1 red pepper
1 medium coursly chopped onion
1 cello bag of spinach
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 chili pepper crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
Then: dumping the liquid in with the item, ADD
1 can shrimp ( I use a frozen precooked pkg of shrimp, I like lots)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can mushrooms
Bring to a boil, then cover with slices of sharp (old) ceddar cheese. When cheese melts it is read to serve on rice.
Yum...my!
