Parents against television violence

Hi ALL!,
I am no parent BUT this is a subject I feel strongly about. The kids now days are just simplt 'out of control'. There are many reasons, bad parents, not enough things for them to do that is legal(like towns REFUSING to put up skateboard areas for kids that can be supervised by mature adults). So what do they do? Watch these crappy TV shows that give them all kinds of rotten ideas for them to fill their 'idle' time. Getting rid of these shows will NOT completely solve the problem but it is a start.
