BOY ON A SWING (Lingfield, 2.15) probably bumped into a smart debutant at today's venue last time and should gain compensation this afternoon.
Unfortunately, bookmakers are unlikely to take many chances with the youngster who made a sizeable leap forward from his debut when running green and looking backward.
I liked the way he moved through the race last time and it was no disgrace to give second best to a rival who was backed off the boards to score at the first time of asking.

BENLLECH (Lingfield, 4.30) was unfortunate to taste defeat on Saturday as he was being delivered with a race winning challenge only to be cracked over the nose by a rival's whip.
The incident by Fromsong's pilot - purely accidental of course - stopped Michael Wigham's charge in his tracks temporarily and the loss of valuable momentum was crucial in a six furlong sprint.
Hopefully, he can gain compensation today and continue his fine recent form since joining his current connections.

RUFFIE (Wolverhampton, 8.20) seems an improved performer for a switch to Julia Feilden and the form of her Southwell win was boosted when Sparky Vixen scored yesterday.
Amy Baker seems to have struck up a good relationship with the filly who stayed on powerfully to score on the Fibresand last time, but does have good form on Polytrack too.
