SMOKEY THE BEAR (Kempton, 2.10) has never run a bad race at Kempton and looks the value call in the claimer on Sunday.
The consistent six-year-old comes here in top form having cooly landed the odds just nine days ago. Despite looking short of room, the gap appeared and he worked his way to the front during the final furlong, cheekily grabbing the spoils on the line. The front two were well clear of the rest and despite this race looking tougher, he is fancied to come out on top again.
CLASSIC FIDDLE (Exeter, 4.05) had a respectable start to her chasing career at Fontwell. She didn't win by far but can only come on for the experience. She is bred in the purple for this game and can improve again to see off Rustarix.
FOLIE DANCER (Hereford, 2.20) took to hurdling with aplomb at Haydock a month and a half ago. The tough mare travelled well off the pace and, when asked to go, hit the front with the minimum of fuss. She can follow up today.
