Yes, I sure did. I loved my Barbie Dolls. To this day, I collect them. I collect the I Love Lucy Dolls, Marilyn Monroe, Cher Dolls, and Wizard of Oz. I have one set of dolls from each of the old sitcoms too , such as the Munsters, Addams Family, Bewitched, I dream of Jeannie, That Girl.

My other favorite toys, were board games. I had more board games than clothes. My favorite past time when friends came over.

Other than that, Daisy. The first love of my life..lol. My stuffed animal duck. I carried her everywhere. She was my love and my comfort, especially when I was in trouble with my mama..lol. yes, I so still have Daisy..lol

Truthfully, I belive myself to be a gypsy at heart. I have not had the opportunity to move too many times in my lifetime. I have moved 3 times by the time I was 9 months old. In adult hood I have moved 5 times.

We have lived in the same home for the past 14 years. We thought about moving a couple of years ago, when the prices of homes sky rocketed in California, but we never did.

My family and I spent 3 years landscaping our backyard by oursleves. Our yard is not very big. About 20 long steps across and 17 normal strides in depth. We only had occasional time on the weekend for our project too. My husband, myself, and two boys, built a waterfall, 3 ft. deep Koi pond, a small bridge, and another little fall under the bridge. A large raised flower bed with Palm Trees and lots of tropical plants and a fire pit that seats 8 people around it.

Ask me if I would do it again, hmmmm...probably not lol. It was so much work. We cemented the entire pond too, after the lining was laid down. We live close to the beach area, so we do get occasional vistors such as pelicans, and the ones with the long skinny bodies and long beaks..the name escapes me right now. Bottom line, they can tear up the liner, and eat our fish. We keep a net over our pond most of the time, too.

Our home is two story. I love two story homes, and always dreamed of having one when I was a little girl. My best friend had one right across the street, I loved her home.

I'm pretty sure we will be here for a good while longer. I'm a frugal shopper, but I do try to change things from time to time, so as not to get bored being in the same home. I'm just appreciative that we do have a home! No place is like home!

My question is about your name here on Apsense. I get the Lisa G part, but how did you come up with "intimates" and your cute little symbol?

Goodmorning Penny!

Initially, I had planned to sell lingerie and family sleepwear on line. I still have not totally forgotten about the idea. Some 20 years ago, I had chose this name, Lisa G Intimates, for a brick and mortar dream I had, but never followed through with it. Lisa G. is my real name.

I decided to keep the name. I figured intimates does not only have to relate to lingerie. I have recently thought about changing it, since I'm not currently selling lingerie. I've gone to many a trade shows, and I have the domain name...lol..., but I just did not have the funds to really get anything started, to be honest.

I think everyone knows me by this name now too, though. I figure if I ever do start up my on line with a lingerie store, atleast some people will recognize the name..lol.

Oops, left out part of your question. The symbol, I was really just bored one day, I playing around with different ways to make the smily face, and then came up with this...lol
I liked it, because it looks like an I dream of Jeannie, or Bewitched icon or something. (Love the old sitcoms as you can tell from my doll collection below).
