It appears that the penalty for not complying with a director disqualification order can be a prison sentence, something that means that as a Director I really want to make sure I don't get disqualified in the first place. The whole area is worrying and certainly destroys the idea that having a limited company creates a shield against the law. There are many reasons you can do wrong and get it trouble for. Best to get some help I reckon and this site seems to be a good way to start.
