The story and the characters are wonderful, and the illustrations are so colorful and appealing for a children's book. There are facts about the different sea creatures in the story and about seahorses and their habitat. This book is a nice one to share with your little one. The main character in the book goes riding on her seahorse to catch a fish. The story has a cliffhanger wanting you to read more. It is a delightful mix of fiction and non-fiction as the story ends and the "Hermipedia" section of tutorials begin about the starfish and sea urchins mentioned in the story as well as a fun read about how to ride a seahorse.
