Ask for a Shallower Stone
Diamond proportions are essential for the entire brilliance of the stone, but sometimes selecting a shallower stone will help you get more value for your money. You might have two stones, both of these .50ct, but one of these has standard proportions and something of them is even more shallow. The shallower gemstone will probably have a wider table and for that reason look bigger than it really is. When investing in a diamond, your eye can be your best friend.
