On-page seo define as what work can be done on particular website to make it optimize. Some on-page factors are which used to get high rank. On-page seo factors are:-
A. Header tag (h-tag):- Put keywords & key-phrases in header tag because header shows that these keywords & key-phrases are important for web-page. There should be only one h1 tag because this h1 tag defines the important part of page but there may be multiple of h2, h3…… tags. Put header tag <h1> </h1> at the top of the page, preferably after the <body> tag.
B. Image alt tag: - Image alt tag defines a text which uses by search engine to understand and find images. An image can be easily defined by using image alt tag with relevant keywords. For example:- <img src=” cutebaby.jpg” alt=”cute baby”/>
C. Meta tag: - These tags are HTML tags which are used to store information about a web-page. To see meta tag just right click on page to select ‘view page source’ option then click on this view page source option this will show the code of page.
There are 3 Meta tag: - a. title tag
b. keyword tag
c. description tag
a. Title tag: - title tag should be unique for each page. Title tag define topic of the page means what about that particular page is. Title tag should contain important keywords or key-phrases for that particular page. This tag should not be more then 70 character. These title tags should place in head tag.

b. Keyword tag: - keyword tags are not use by Google in ranking web-page. Yahoo and Bing still use it so must be define well.
Example of keyword tag:-
<meta name=”keyword” content=”header,image”>
c. Description tag:- description tag content brief explanation of web-page. This tag should not be more than 160-200 character. This tag should be well written.
Example of description tag:-
<meta name=”description” content=”brief description of page”>
D. Web-page content: - The most important thing is that content of particular page should be unique, well written not copy from another page & meaningful. Another important thing is that there must be use of target keywords in web-page content. Keywords must be mention at least 3 times in web-page. These help in improve the rank of web-page & should be free from all type of error like grammatical or spell error.
