STORY TO READ CAREFULLY-- beware insurance scams by crook
elements---a story---Rakesh had bought an insurance policy --he was to
pay renewal premium---two young persons who were known to elder brother
of Rakesh came to help him---they told rakesh that as he was busy they
would deposit his cheque with insurance company--Rakesh gave a crossed
cheque of rs i lac --with name of abc---life insurance
on front n his policy number on reverse --after some days he got an
informAtion by sms from bank that his cheque has been encashed --but
then he also got sms from company that his policy has lapsed--now the
turning point of story --when he went to insurance company --he got
information that his cheque amount has been used to buy an insurance
product for another person --his name sake Rakesh --and while his
signatures have been forged and other details have been filled--SO THE
TRICKSTERS HAVE RESORTED TO SUCH ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES--the original rakesh
gave his bank statement n matter is being looked into--so friends be
very cautious--youngsters are being used by planning big cheats--and
employed to collect such cheques --then namesakes are found to find new
policy takers and after look out time of 15 days the money is
withdrawn--NEVER TRUST A STRANGER AND DEPOSIT MONEY WITH THE SPECIFIC
OFFICES--insurance compAnies can add following directions--bank
statement with photograph on it by bank from where cheque is issued--a
blank cancelled cheque and verification of insurance seekers from
neighbour or notary public--
