Since long television is the means of home entertainment, that many people are used to. Today if a person has been up to buying a new television set, then just selecting the largest size and best brand for it is not enough. LCD TV’s were also launched at the time of plasma. These televisions use a less amount of energy as compared to plasma and were even more costly than that.  The screed is comparatively lighter and its life is for about 30+ years. It works on the same technology as a pocket calculator. Due to new products old lcds   cost is lowered down.

Today a wide range of LCDs is available in the market with a range of screen sizes. In this motion blur occurs frequently and the contrast level is also very low. It is very difficult to watch it from different angles.

Now came LED TV which is next generation LCD screens. This is because they use the same technology with a slighter different. Led televisions use led backlights which are different from fluorescent backlight found in traditional lcd screens.  These tvs uses very less power and have a very thin screen which makes it lighter and allows to place it anywhere.  It displays a dynamic quality picture.

Today it’s a trend to fasten the tv over fireplace, on the wall which also saves space on the floor. Because of so many new, unique and effective qualities, these televisions are but obviously expensive. It's said that led televisions are the best flat screen TVs, so it's not going to be a loss through its purchase. 

A person might get confused at the time of buying a new television, as something new is developed every next month. Current generation flat screen tv has different forms according to their quality and prices. Now it depends upon the customer to select the best suited according to performance and cost.

Today it's possible to even mount tv over fireplace which adds beauty to the place and saves space.
