On April 1st, 2013, tagvillage will officially launch.

Our entire, working system will be live. Tag Traders, publishers, causes, and advertisers will all reap the benefits of a cohesive system. All commissions and donations to causes will be flowing instantly. Tag Traders will be earning money trading Tags and from advertisements that target their Tags. Publishers will be earning money daily from ads displayed on their web pages. Causes will be getting automatic donations equal to 10% of the funds generated through ad sales.

The entire, working system will be in place, and we plan to be in a position to reinstate payouts.

When members sign into their accounts on April 1st, 2013, they will have 2 types of Credits, but they will have NO TAGS at all. Every single Tag in the system will be erased. It will be as if tagvillage never existed before and every single member had just joined and loaded funds into their accounts. Every member will have Tag Trading Credits and Bonus TagTrading Credits in their accounts. The amount of each type of Credit each member has will be calculated as follows:

(1) TagTrading Credits = Actual Cash Deposits – Actual Cash Withdrawals

All the actual cash you have ever deposited into tagvillage minus all the actual cash you have ever withdrawn from tagvillage. If this results in a zero or negative, your balance will be zero. Regular TagTrading Credits can be used for trading Tags or withdrawal.

(2) Bonus TagTrading Credits = 20% of Entire Tag Inventory Resale Value on March 25th, 2013

We will take a snapshot of every single account at midnight on March 25th, 2013. Your Bonus Credits balance will be exactly 20% of the total resale value of your entire Tag inventory. Bonus TagTrading Credits can ONLY be used to buy NEW Tags (tags that have never been previously owned by another member).

This presents a real opportunity for both tagvillage and our members. Now, we are an advertising distribution system. We are not building a search engine or social network as planned. When the restart button is pushed on April 1, 2013, members will have an opportunity to line their Tag inventories up with the new platform, and therefore reap profits they would have missed due to outdated strategies.

In order to wipe the slate entirely clean, and to help our members get the most out of their April 1 bonus, we plan to pay the 2011 and 2012 Tag Guru balances in lump-sums during January 2013.

Before January 15, 2013, we will deposit ½ of the remaining 2011 Tag Guru Contest balance into the Credits balance of every single member who has a prize balance.

This one-time lump-sum payment will settle the entire balance of the 2011 Tag Guru prizes. We will not continue to make monthly distributions on the 20th of each month. So, all 2011 Tag Guru prize balances will be considered paid-in-full when we make the lump-sum payout of ½ of the remaining balance before January 15th, 2013.

We will conduct the drawings for the 2012 Tag Guru contest on January 15th and announce all the winners.

We will pay 100% of the prizes in Credits on January 20th, 2013.

Affiliate Compensation Plan Overhaul

As our committee was discussing the factory reset plan, one person stated we should address the entire operations of tagvillage, especially our compensation plan, and make sure everything is in line with our long-term strategies and platforms. It was apparent that many of our compensation concepts and membership plans were based on the old social network and search engine concepts. So, after much debate, we have decided to make the following changes to our compensation plan.

(1) Eliminate the Activity Points and Daily Profit Share system entirely.This system was originally designed to reward members for conducting activity within our social network. It is not valid any longer and the funds could be better used to attract publishers and advertisers so our members will earn more from advertising commissions.

(2)1.00 Starting Tag ValueAll Tags will start at 1.00 Credits instead of 0.10

(3) 40% Tag Price Increase Per TradeTags will increase in price by 40% instead of 30%

(4) Tag Seller Earns 82% of Retail PriceWhen you sell a Tag you will earn 82% of the Retail Price, not 115% of the cost. This allows members to earn slightly better profits when they sell Tags.

(5) Multi-Level Referral Commissions (TagTrading) If your referral BUYS a Tag, you will earn 3% of the retail price.If your referral’s referral BUYS a Tag, you will earn 2% of the retail price.If your referral’s referral’s referral BUYS a Tag, you will earn 2% of the retail price.

(6) 10% Targeted Tag Advertising CommissionIf you own a Tag that is targeted by an advertiser, you will be paid 10% of the amount paid by the advertiser.

(7) Multi-Level Referral Commissions (Advertising)If your referral owns a Tag that is targeted by an advertiser, you will earn 3% of the amount paid by the advertiser.If your referral’s referral owns a Tag that is targeted by an advertiser, you will earn 2% of the amount paid by the advertiser.If your referral’s referral’s referral owns a Tag that is targeted by an advertiser, you will earn 2% of the amount paid by the advertiser.

(8) Millionaires ClubWe will not be paying 5% referral commissions for advertiser or publisher referrals.

Therefore, we will amend the Millionaires Club to reflect the new multi-level plan. Under the new plan, the ONLY valuable referrals will be active TagTraders. Therefore, we will distribute only active house referrals that are actively trading Tags. The number of referrals you will receive will not change, but they will be active TagTraders. In this way, you are ensured commissions.

(9) Founders Profit Sharing PoolThis will not be modified at all. This pool is 100% based on actual advertising revenue, therefore, once we begin earning advertising revenue, we will distribute shares to this pool as originally planned.

From now until March 31st, 2013, we will focus on this turn-around plan. We will also pour as much energy as possible into marketing and selling our advertising platform. Our goal is to reach April 1st with a solid, complete platform and hundreds of active publishers and advertisers. However, this is not possible without continued commitment from our TagTrader members. TagTrading is the ONLY source of funds for tagvillage until we begin to gain advertisers. Without a high level of TagTrading, we will surely not survive.We have poured 100% of our energy into this project. We have worked for 2.5 years to get to this point. We now have 2.5 years of experience and software development. We are now enhancing a highly marketable advertising system. We are on the cusp of making the 2.5 year dream a reality. This is the point where we all make it or break it together. I am calling on the TagTraders to get us through to April 1st.
