Trying to do everything at once in your online marketing business is next to
impossible, especially if you still have a day job, even more so if you have a
family with young kids.
I invite you to take a close look at how you manage your time. Remember why you
are building your business. Don't neglect the basics of life:
- Eating right.
- Staying in shape.
- Reasonable amount of sleep.
When your health is being taken care of, the rest follows.
Look at where you are wasting time. Brian Tracy, the well known success speaker and author, says: "When you're at work, work!" If someone comes to chat with you, tell the person you're busy. Keep in mind these 3 words: "Back to work". Repeat them 3 times.
It is a challenge to apply this suggestion in online marketing, for sure. After all, we want to build relationships. You'll find the right balance that will allow you to identify the ROI-MARTS aspect of time management. Don't feel guilty if some people complain you are not present enough. Instead, spend time with people who have a positive influence on you.
