The Bidsson.com auctions are so called "Penny Auctions". A penny auction works as a normal auction. The only difference is that you can only raise 1 penny/cent at a time.

Every auction has a countdown timer. When a bid is placed the timer is reset to a predetermined bid time, normally 30 seconds. If no one raises the bid before the time is out the auction closes and the last bidder wins the auction, and will purchase the product for the end auction price.
