Free Auto Parts?
Just got the brake light I ordered online from go-part.com that cost me $94 with shipping. Included in the package was a offer that read:
"Want an easy $100 dollars?
Then send us a video of you changing this car part!
We want to help people by creating a resource base where everyone can find videos and instructions on replacing their parts. But with all the different models out there, we'll need your help.
Since you'll be replacing your part anyways, why not make a video of how you did it?
We'll give you $100 dollars for it!"
OK, I will set up a video camera and video tape me changing my brake light send to them they give me $100 and the part is free.
Not sure how the marketing of this works for them?
Will they display these videos online or charge extra to send help video with order or maybe free how to video with each order.
