Ear Grabbing Audio Effects
I had a few friends view my latest video on YouTube and they liked the little audio intro I added, so I thought I would share how I did it.
I used a free program called Audacity (search Google) and a cheap microphone I got on Ebay for 10 bucks. Then I downloaded a free sound track of an explosion from This Website
Then I fired up Audacity and in my most theatrical voice I could muster, I recorded the sound track. Then I clicked on effects and added the Echo effect to it. Finally I Imported the explosion sound and positioned it right at the end of my voice track so it blended in and I used the Fade Out at the end to trail off the sound to start my main recording session.
Actually it was fun to do and I learned something.
