How do you build your business online?
How do you build your business online?
Generally there are two types of tools which help online businesses to grow - free and paid. Using free tools to build your online business is very feasible but the results may take a bit longer than using tools which are paid for.
This maybe true for some tools, but this argument could be refuted for many members of Apsense and Ibotoolbox as not altogether true. I use both free and paid tools, and by far Ibotoolbox have outstripped most of those other social networking sites which charge you a monthly fee to become a paid member to gain access to their business building tools. Facebook is another good source of growing your business but there are many challenges to be aware of, such as Facebook shutting down your account without notice. Other challenges will emerge with the new acquisition of ownership, so watch this space.
There are many other free tools on the internet for new internet marketers, experienced and those who are on a shoe string budget.
My advice to people wondering where to spend their money is to invest some of in an autoresponder. This would help build your list, and the saying that "the money is in the list" is very true. A list built from scratch, would be invaluable throughout the live of your business and beyond and would ultimately pay for the monthly cost of your autoresponder and provide you with an regular income. For those who are new to autoresponders and on a very low budget, click here for a good free autoresponder for now and then transfer to one of the better ones as soon as possible.
Using safelists is another form of advertising, again there is the choice of free and paid membership. Some marketers believe that safelists are a waste of time. I personally disagree with that view. Some safelists are very effective and the more popular ones do provide a good source of referrals without costing a dime. I find them more effective in list building, I then use the list to introduce my product or service. Giving away a free product or service help to generate a lot of interest and make this project more effective.
There are many other ways to build your business, one is offline advertising. This is probable as important as online building. Although it may take a longer time and more resources, because of the personal interaction between you and your target market, it too is very effective in building personal relationships with your prospects.
It is important to note that some businesses are started to provide an income for its members. Then there are those which are only designed to take away your hard earned cash, so the owners could make huge amount of money. If you are new to internet marketing or not having much luck, find a good program or two, at the start and stick with it/them until you understand just about everything you need to know about that program, become an expert. Then recruit people into your program and provide training and support to help them earn a living. When they are earning, you are earning.
The internet marketing industry is not a get rich quick dream come through. Some people have made lots of money from this industry quickly, and in many instances internet marketers have manipulated and exploited a lot of people to earn money.
