Clearing Cookies and History
Clearing Cookies and History
I was very happy to see very positive responses from people reading my previous blog on Computer Maintenance, so I thought it would be a good ideas to share the information on how to clear your cookies and history with people who have never performed this task before.
This simple computer maintenance is very easy to carry out and is also and necessary for your system to operate better. I would show you the simple steps on how to clear your cookies and history.
1. Open your Internet Explorer browser.
2. At the top of the browser window there are several tabs File Edit View Favourites Tools Help
3. Click on the Tools tab.
4. In the box which opens, at the top of the screen click on Delete Browsing History.
5. Another box will open up labelled - Delete Browsing History.
6. Click on each box next to each heading which you want to delete.
7. Click on the Delete button at the bottom of the box.
This would then delete all the items which boxes you ticked.
NOTE:
I would advise you to not tick the following boxes.
Form Data - if you have been using this tool
Passwords - these are saved on your system and are automatically inserted in the relevant boxes when you sign into a site you previously visited and logged into.
InPrivate Filtering data which detects websites which may be sharing details about your visit.
