ZingBizPRO Review – What Makes ZingBizPRO So Special?
With the likes of Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn and other Web2.0 properties already attracting hundreds of millions of users, you have to ask yourself what chance a start-up company like ZingBizPRO has of luring away sufficient members to be a viable company, much less competing with them on an equal footing. The leadership team of Small Biz Incubator, a training center for online marketers, went looking for answers. Who wouldn’t, after all, want to get in on the ground floor of a business opportunity with a “Next Facebook” kind of upside?

ZingBizPRO Is A Community and Marketing Platform
Pre-launch sales materials call ZingBizPRO “A Community and Marketing Platform for Business Professionals”. We decided to make a list of what we thought a platform branding itself should offer, then compare it to what the company plans to roll out in mid November, 2011. As Internet Marketing trainers, we are users/owners of a significant number of expensive online marketing tools that are used to conduct online training and mentoring. Amongst them are Go To Webinar, various forum platforms, video email, blogging and media storage sites. All-in-all these amount to a fair amount of out-of-pocket expense on a monthly basis. So here is the wish-list of items we thought a business networking platform like ZingBizPRO should optimally include if it was to replace all of these programs:
- Conferencing and broadcasting facilities (Like GoToWebinar/GoToMeeting)
- Small Group chat rooms with video, audio and whiteboard capabilities
- Personal and Business Profiles (like Facebook’s Wall and Fan Pages)
- Video Email
- Video and Text Storage/Archiving
- Internal Networking with other Business Owners/Members (similar to LinkedIn)
- Direct posting capabilities to Facebook and Twitter
- Business specific forums
- Classified Ads
- Event Hosting and Scheduling
While this is not a comprehensive list, it includes a collection of features we haven’t seen in one place, at any cost. To find out how ZingBizPRO stacked up we sent our wish list to Todd Oldfield, the “voice” of ZingBizPRO. To put it mildly, we were pretty much surprised (pleasantly so) with his response. According to Todd, ZingBizPRO does most of what we wished for. Here is the list of features that he says will be included with the first version, slated for release in November 2011:
- Access to a lot of people. By the end of the year there will be tens of thousands of members.
- A Global Community. It will include Chat rooms, audio/video Chat, lobbies based on topic, company, and interests, where you can talk to people and get to know them.
- Private Chat rooms. Each member can create their own public and private chat rooms that may be password protected, and include audio and video functionality.
- One-on-one Audio/Video Chat for members to connect up, train, strategize, or whatever.
- Personal Profiles. Every member will have a personal profile to let other members get to know who they are and what they are all about.
- Video Email. A powerful method of communication that allows senders to send You Tube, or uploaded videos to their contacts, both internal and external of the system.
- A Branded to your business, business channel. Upload all types of information, videos, documents, photos, or whatever you’d like to help promote your business.
- Forums
- Classified Ad space
- A high quality Audio/Video broadcasting system for internal or external webinars, training sessions or whatever your business needs.
- Unlimited access to all features.
- All included for one low price of $19.95 per month!
Our team of reviewers was particularly smitten with the broadcasting tool ZingBizPRO will feature. Similar products, when purchased from competitors like Go to Webinar can cost upwards of $400 per month or more! In total, the list of features taken individually could quickly run up a monthly bill of $800.
What’s Not To Like About ZingBizPRO And Its Business Networking Platform?
- The first thing that comes to mind is that we haven’t actually been able to “kick the tires” yet. Todd reports that ZingBizPRO will enter beta testing in approximately two weeks, with the system expected to go live in mid November 2011. We’ll have to wait until then to get a first-hand look and test all of its functionality. From glimpses we’ve been given, however, we don’t expect many negative surprises. Bookmark this site for updates as they become available. We’ll report on what we find during beta testing.
- The second thing is there is not a white board feature. We think this should be considered in the future. It’s a great tool for small, impromptu coaching sessions and a myriad of similar uses. We’re hoping this will be added in time.
- Lastly, we don’t know what the terms and conditions of use ZingBizPRO will incorporate, but from our experience with other business oriented networks we have a concern about spammers. Unless there are safeguards put into place from the start, we fear this marvelous concept could become useless for legitimate business networking. We’re betting this has been addressed, but we’ll be anxiously waiting for details.
The ZingBizPRO Pre-Launch Market Funnel
As if a ton of functionality wasn’t enough, ZingBizPRO has decided to market the product through affiliates (members), and recently begin offering a Pre-launch Program (Affiliate Link). In its 7 weeks it attracted more than 20,000 sign-ups, all through word-of-mouth. In excess of 35,000 are expected to have enrolled by launch date.
Unlike most affiliate programs, ZingBizPRO offers commissions through 5 tiers, providing tremendous incentive for members to spread the word. With such a robust marketing plan we can see this going viral before it officially opens for business. According to Oldfield, the program is designed to pay 45% of profits back to the membership.
Summary Of Our Findings
In our opinion, ZingBizPRO is the most robust, feature rich, business specific marketing platform yet designed. Unlike Facebook or Google Plus, which cater mainly to social interaction, ZBP was designed as a deadly serious, business networking site from the get-go. It will afford Facebook frustrated business owners a refreshing venue in which to grow their businesses without fearing censure by the powers that be. The set of business networking tools contained in ZingBizPRO is exhaustive, and we are promised there is much more to come. Throw in the compensation plan and this offering comes up smelling like roses. It’s got our vote, particularly now during pre-launch, with the opportunity to establish a significant affiliate income before ever laying down a dime.

If reality matches expectations ZingBizPRO Review believes ZingBizPRO could indeed be the next Facebook-like success story. Our suggestion? Get in now during pre-launch (for free), while the competition for acquiring new members is low. We believe it might be the best business decision you make this year, if not ever.
ZingBizPRO Review Update
A picture really is worth a thousand words! Until I saw inside ZingBizPRO this morning I admit that I had lingering doubts about its viability in a tough market place, which includes the likes of Facebook and LinkedIn.
It’s one thing to talk a good line, it’s quite another to produce something that truly has “game changer” written all over it. You will see for yourself in about two weeks when ZingBizPRO opens its doors to the business public. Until then the accounts of those who’ve been privileged to tour the platform will have to do!
My First Impressions of ZingBizPRO
When ZingBizPRO CEO Verne Packer began the tour, I was struck by its similarity to Facebook. The profile page and the wall looked remarkably like Facebook’s. But the similarities ended right there.
What caught my eye first was the imbedded videos in the timeline. Not links, but imbedded videos. Some were from YouTube, while others I saw were original videos created and uploaded for testing purposes.

There was no obvious flicker or other typical playback artifacts, and sound and video synced up well. This was a welcome surprise that was repeated throughout. Videos were consistently of high quality. In fact, the entire site possessed a feel of quality. It was clear to me that a great deal of thought, planning, care and experience has gone into the design of this platform.
Features New to Me
It was great to finally see all of the features that had previously been described and were listed in my first review. I was impressed with the brandable business channel, the video email, video chatrooms, conference rooms and everything we’ve heard so much about. I was really excited though, to learn that much more would be delivered on launch day in mid-November than had been promised. Things that no other site has included as part of the basic (and only) package.
Among my favorite “new” features was a Member’s Mall where products can be listed and sold. ZingBizPRO will handle all of the financial processing for a small fee. The payment portal can even be set up to handle recurring payments!
The next thing of note was the Blogging Function. I was surprised at its robustness, including built-in video, photo uploads and a complete set of formatting tools rivaling those found in WordPress. The blog will be accessible from inside the platform, as well as available to anyone outside that is given a link. Visitors will have access to the blog, but will be blocked from going any further within ZingBizPRO unless they become members. Of course linking to outside entities from the blog is also easily doable.
Something I had been told about, but hadn’t really grasped until seeing it first-hand was the powerful functionality for potential employers. Each member can post multiple resumes that will be searchable. This is similar to LinkedIn, but without the cost associated with that program. The cost for unlimited use and access remains at $19.95 per month whether you are seeking work, or are the director of human resources at a major organization looking for dozens of employees. This feature is POWERFUL! Add the ability to conduct interviews, on the spot, in video chat rooms and you now have an incredible employment tool that could potentially save an employer thousands of dollars and a lot of time.
ZingBizPRO Review-Summary
At the risk of losing my objectivity as a reviewer, let me say I was wowed by what I saw. In fact, I’ll openly admit that I’ve crossed the line from reviewer to promoter! ZingBizPRO is a truly functional product that will make the task of business networking, marketing, head-hunting, and job seeking a whole lot easier and less expensive. As a professional online trainer and marketer, I know that ZingBizPRO will become a major tool in my arsenal. With many of my requisite tools built right into the program, I have the ability to shave hundreds of dollars per month off my overhead! And talk about a targeted audience…
