I will like you to know that Ranking 2-3 page on Google Takes time, with lots of effort but usually worth it.

My First suggestion is to continue the link building, but to higher PR sites of 7-10 not just any website.

Find online discussions, forums, and blogs where your target customers visit and then start posting and participating.

Make sure you include your URL as part of your signature after posting.  This adds vital back links that will help rank your site higher in the search engine.

 Secondly, submit your website to the major search engines and web directories with Blog Pingers – for free and regularly, after every adjusted update of Fresh Contents, like once in 3 days or so! also to web directories on a regular basis (at least once per month), either manually or with instant submission services.

Add focused, well-written keyword content on your website blogs and use it to direct interested customers to the product.

Keyword-rich articles that educate will not only bring visitors, but it will bring them back again and again to your blog then straight to the product. Good content helps the search engines find you and know how to best list your site in search results.

Write articles related to your website and publish them on your blogs, free article directories, and content submission websites. Include your URL at the end of the article in your signature to create even more back links for the search engines to find.

Directory listings build crucial back links to your site, increasing your visibility and credibility with the search engines.

 You as a Webmaster should also strive to obtain back links by distributing more press releases, posting in online forums, marketing website articles, and Blogging regularly like Morning Tooth Brushing or Bathing.... :)

Now for Social Media Strategy to get maximum traffic, (Note; Experts say conversion from Social Media traffic is Just 4%, as search engines don’t use them in Rankings, But I feel that is beginning to change as even Facebook a social networking site ranks 2^nd after Google on Alexa, I will tell you if used wisely, it is definitely higher than 4% :)

Take advantage of web 2.0 sites also like Apsense, hubpages....etc. to publish quality content of that site. I don’t know much on your Budget or Funds available to you; I would have also suggested buying Facebook Credits or Apsense credits For Advertisement.

And finally since or if you don’t use Adsense on your site you can use Traffic exchanges

But I bet it will go a long way to improve rankings and traffic Over Time as though my website/blog is just about 5 months it's on PR 1 with pretty much efforts, but as to sites in its category or even older, many are still at zero.
