Newby? Don't take to much hay on your haystack!
First of all the first step must be to learn some basics about online business like:
- learn how to determine if an opportunity is legitimate or not and has the potential to earn money or not (read the articles from admins Cheryl and BJ)
- hot to set up a website/blog
- how to promote it
- tracking results
- and write up some basic business plan with some goals and ways you want to achieve these goals. Divide these in tasks and how often you must do these tasks; some tasks will be daily, others less frequent.
If you have gained some basic knowledge you can start promoting your own business or a program.
A mistake that many newbies make is joining to many programs, mailing lists, TE's and what ever. It is to expected you will lose track of what you are supposed to do very fast or there are simply to many tasks to manage.
Despite planning it can happen that events/opportunities occur that have to much potential to pass by. Or that there are unforeseen hurdles to take that require more time than anticipated. It happened to me. In that case you need to review your business plan, set priorities and maybe set some projects on hold. It is much better to work some projects 100% than 20 insufficient.
