I like beautiful girls, the real ones

I am a man. A "normal" man.

What I mean by that is, I enjoy seeing a beautiful woman. It doesn't mean I want to have an affair with every beautiful woman out there. Well, yes it does, but that's another story. LOL

Seriously, my point is, there are many beautiful women in online marketing and networking. That's a nice bonus for us guys.

However, what I find ridiculous, and we see  way too many of that at APSense, is the girls who use pictures of gorgeous actresses instead of their own.

Are you ashamed of your looks? Or do you believe it will help you build your business in the long run?

The answer to the 2nd question, in my opinion, is a resounding NO.

For instance, one member uses a picture of Natalie Portman. As if nobody knew who Natalie is around the world. After all, only a few people have seen Star Wars movies, right?

One other member posts tons of articles on stuff she wants to sell. She uses a picture of Madonna.

A few months ago, there was a beautiful member. I told her a couple of times how pretty I found her. Until a member from her country told me her first name is that of a man, and the picture was from a well known actress of that country.

I told "her". He was upset that I was criticitizing the choice of picture. He chose a new one, of another woman. :(

Lately, I have seen a member use the same picture for many different accounts. Thanks to the level I've reached, I refuse those pictures every time. The worst thing is, that person uses many accounts instead of one. Not ethical at all.

Think of the long term consequences of your choice. To build your business efficiently, you will register at many sites, not just APSense. I use the same picture everywhere ( and username ). People recognize me at those places and send contact requests when they like me.

How do you deal with it? I know, there are tons of pictures for the same actress, any actress, if you choose to continue your practice. The thing is, somewhere, somehow, other people will tell you to use your personal picture. Some will say it in public comments. It could be embarassing and hurt your business.

Why take that chance?
