I joined BizOppers as a Gold member.

As a free member, you can't make any money. That's why I did it.

I hesitated in joining at first, since it's a sister site to Swom, and I had left it after 1 month back in Sept 2010.

Too many things go against my principles at that kind of site:

• To make money, you have to be active, i.e. post anything you want. They say it's FaceBook monetized. Well, saying "hi" 300 times a day is not my idea of fun, but that's what most members do there. They don't respond to the other people's comments, they just say "hi" once more.
• To make points, you also have to like posts. People like anything, just to get it over with. I plead guilty, I did it too.
• People post videos to get more points. They then post the link of their videos when you post yours, they expect you will go to their video and vote on it, to make more points.
• BizOppers asks members to be "Evangelists". What it means is, write the word "gold" as much as possible in your posts, there's a bonus at the end of the month. I thought it was awkward but complied. I used the word "gold" in all kinds of variations, hundreds of times. At the end of the month, it gave me a whopping $0.69.
• In private messages, people send unsolicited links at all times. I said I don't like it, some members said, "it is not spam in PMs". Sorry, I disagree.
• I had put ads for my opportunities. The number of clicks I got was a joke, it took a long time. It's not worth it, in my opinion.
• There are no limits to the number of groups you can create. If I had accepted all the group invitations, I would in 300 groups, probably. Many of those "groups" are just a link to opportunities, with no information provided in the BizOpper group.
• To invite people in groups, it's way too easy. You can invite all your contacts, there's a limit of 200 invites a day you can send.

I did meet some people there that I had not met anywhere else, so I will remain a free member when I receive my commission in a few days. I created a group for APSense, I will create one for the APSense Insider and Wiki-Clix. Will I get results? No idea.
