Promote your Business on Facebook at NO Cost - GO ==>>
==>> Here are 47 of the most effective Facebook marketing strategies I've ever seen. These are the exact strategies I follow with my own personal Facebook marketing. Also, some of the tips have a short video where I personally walk you through that strategy. If you would like ALL the videos for each tip and trick make sure you make it to #47. I can't believe I'm even doing this. Enjoy...
1) dlvr.it.com : This is literally the #1 tip I ever learned. dlvr.it.com will share blog posts on your Facebook page as soon as they are posted. Link up your own blog or blog posts from industry leaders. You decide what and when for dlvr.it to share so you don't over blast your fans or friends on Facebook. This is the definition of putting your Facebook marketing on auto-pilot and making sure your brand is seen every day on Facebook.
2) Suggest Page Image: An easy way to get your page to grow is by putting an image at the bottom of your profile picture asking fans to suggest your page to their friends. Super Easy!
3) Profile Banner Pictures: The pictures that appear at the top of your friend and fan page are great little advertisements. Create pictures on your fan pages for people to click on and have links in the caption of the picture. On friend pages, you can have 5 pictures in a row to form a long banner. These make your pages look great!
4) stumbleupon.com: Having trouble coming up with content to share with your fans? stumbleupon.com takes your likes and interests and finds relevant websites. Once you find one you want to share, they provide a one click "share on Facebook" button. Awesome site! This video shows you more...

5) Don't Over Blast: Be sure not to send out too many status updates back to back to back. People hate that and its an easy way to lose a friend or fan. I recommend 3-5 a day tops but as long as the content is GREAT (and I mean GREAT!) it really doesn't matter.
6) Custom Fan Pages: make your fan pages stand out by using Facebook's iframes. You can literally make your pages look like websites! Pay a professional or you can do it yourself when you purchase products from companies like fanpageengine.com.
7) Share Other Friends/Fans Content: Want people to share your pages and content so you get a viral buzz? Well then do the same for them. This quick video shows you how to share other's pages from a fan page you run. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yd6MPAgW6M
8) Videos of you: Videos are always the best to share, especially when your in them. This gives your friends/fans a chance to put a name with a face and get to see what type of person you really are. Its a tremendous way to build relationships with people on Facebook.
9) Facebook Chat: I can't stand it when someone bombards you with links and sales pitches through Facebook chat! Facebook chat is a great way to have conversations with your friends, but if you don't personally know that person that well, never ever ever begin your "chat" with something your selling.
10) Sync to Twitter: Have a Twitter page as well? Involver.com has a free twitter page you can add to your Facebook fan pages. This allows others to see your latest tweets, your followers, an easy way to follow you, etc. Great way to expand your Twitter marketing.

11) Value Marketing: This is just a fantastic way of marketing I believe everyone should follow regardless. "Before you sell or pitch to someone, you give them something of value for free." Its how you gain the trust and respect from your future clients. Your Facebook marketing tactics should try to follow this principle. People don't like to be sold to especially on Facebook, but there are ways to do it.
12) Convert friends to fans: eventually you want to only use a fan page because you can only have 5000 friends and can only have custom pages on fan pages. This is where you can use some value marketing by giving friends something for free when they "like" your fan page.
13) Reveal Page: The BEST way to make sure people like your page when they visit it is to have a "reveal page". This is the page Facebook users will first see when they come to your page. This page will not disappear until they click the "like" button. Intise your visitors with a "bribe" to click the "like" button by giving a "fans only" special or gift. This is how I've had visitor to fan conversion rates as high as 72% some months. The video explains it much more depth.
14) Tagging others: By tagging friends in videos and pictures, those pictures and videos will then show up on their profile wall and a notification will be sent to them saying that they've been tagged. It's a great way to get in front of someone's eyes but be careful with this one. Don't spam "friends" that you might not know that well. I only use this tactic to offer "friends" free info, videos, etc. Never pitching or selling!
15) DON'T BE A SPAMMER!: Thats all
16) Remove tag abilities: to make sure others can't spam you with pictures and videos, go to the account tab, then to privacy settings, then customize settings and then make it so others can't tag you. You only need to do this if its becoming a problem.
17) Select All Friends Button: Watch the video for a great add-on that allows you to select all your "friends" at once when suggesting a page or sending a message or event. 2 minutes well worth your time.

18) Change your URL: Once you have 25 fans on a page you can make a custom Facebook url for that page. That way your page can befacebook.com/bestbuy or something. This will help your Facebook page rank higher in major search engines like Google. It also makes it much easier to market your fan page. "Hey check us out on Facebook at facebook.com/jillsflowers."
19) Info. : Simple but many people don't. Take 15 minutes and fully fill out your information tab. This gives people a chance to see who you are, what you've done and links to your websites. Also, SEO your page by "sprinkling" in keywords that are relevant to your page. This way your page will start ranking higher in major search engines and free traffic is the BEST traffic.
20) Enhance Profile Pic.: Make your own profile picture so it "pops" when people visit your pages. No one want to see a 1 inch by 1 inch picture of you or your company's logo. Your profile picture can do so much more! Example HERE!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seuEIkK4YGk
21) Allow Others To Comment: In your "wall" settings their is an option to allow others to post links, or picture, or videos, or comments, etc. At the very least allow people to comment on your wall and make sure the wall's setting is showing all posts. Not just yours. This gives you "social proof" when others visit your page and see all the activity going on.
22) Engage Your Friends and Fans: Ask questions or make statements on your update status' that you know will get a reaction from people. This is social proof and a way to spread your pages virally. Someone comments on your status, then a link is sent to their profile page saying they commented on your page and a link is sent to all their friends saying they just commented on your wall. Someone else sees that and is interested in who you are, they link to your page and you get another "like" (maybe depending if you have a reveal page lol). Might be hard to follow but my video will show you exactly how to do this.
23) Build Relationships With Pages: Find a person or company's page that is highly visited or respected in your industry. Try to comment and like their statuses regularly. This is a great way to gain respect and spread your brand. Not spamming pages but interacting with them.
24) Contribute to comments: When I say comment on someone else's status I don't mean "sounds cool" or "good job". Give some input and value to your comments. People enjoy that. Great way to gain relationships, gain friends, and add fans. Boo-Yaa!
25) Negative Comments: Quick and simple. Don't post negative comments due to someone else's stupidity. Let them say what they want to say without you getting all bent out of shape.
26) No Vacations: Facebook marketing takes time to build up just like any other marketing campaign. Taking off three weeks is going to take you another three weeks to get back into people's minds. Keep your brand out their and growing. Make this important! If you won't do it find someone who will or someone you can make (bosses).
27) 20 FREE leads a day: So so easy, but this one I'm not going to just give away. With this one simple tactic I can guarantee you up to 20 leads in under 20 minutes every day for any business. If you really want 20 leads a day your going to have to wait until the end.
28) Don't Sell To Friends/Fans: Heres the way I feel. Facebook is like a party. People come to have a good time and enjoy themselves. And when you go to a real party you don't walk in and start selling and pitching and recruiting to people. You build relationships with people and when the time comes then you offer them your product, service or business.
29) Auto-responder: Just like you build leads with an auto-responder on your blog or website, you can install one on a custom fan page. Build your email list as well as your fan base at once.
30) Youtube Tab: just like Involver's Twitter tab, they offer a Youtube tab as well so you can build a Youtube following and people can easily watch your latest videos. Facebook is the biggest and the baddest when it comes to social media marketing, but Youtube is second in my eyes. Use it and abuse it!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POcM-uHq3mA
31) Switch to Fan Page: If you go to the account tab you can interact with others as one of your fan pages. Before, you could only comment or like statuses on your own page. Now, you can go to other fan pages and leave comments, "likes", etc. on other pages. Get the video to see what I'm talking about. This is KILLER for fan page growth and branding.
32) Join Groups: Go out in Facebook's search engine and begin looking for groups people have created with similar likes and each interests of your business. Develop relationships with the people in these groups so that you earn the right to work with them. Example: Your a loan officer. You develop relationships with a few realtors in some kind of real estate group. You "share" and "like" their stuff on Facebook all the time. Next time they have a client in need of a loan officer they send them to you. BOOM!
33) Keep Your Pages Safe: To be on the safe side, I always have at least two or more admins for each Facebook page I create. This way if your primary account is deleted or hacked or whatever, you don't lose access to your fan pages completely. The last thing you want is to spend hours and hours building up this amazing page and then have no way to control it. And I don't know if you knew this but Facebook doesn't really have a customer service center. They can be a little tough to deal with.
34) The 3 E's: The 3 E's are entertain, educate, and enlighten. These are the 3 reasons people use the internet and Facebook is no difference. You should try to hit at least one of these 3 E's in every update status you put out to your friends or fans.
35) Link your profile and your fan page: In your personal page you can enter a quick link to your page in the information section. The first thing people see at the top of your profile page is where you work. Your work place can become a link to your fan page. Pretty cool.
36) Follow Leaders: Go out and find leaders in your industry to find out what they're doing. Be consistent and you might build a relationship with an industry leader. It's a great way to come up with new ideas or even to see what tactics your competition are using. Also, follow a few Facebook marketing companies to stay ahead of the game when it comes to your Facebook marketing.
37) Facebook website "like" add-on: Facebook will give you a free link for your website for people to be able to "like" your fan page right from your website. They can also see your latest postings and comment on your page. Another great way to grow your fan pages. You can go to this link to get yours now. http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/
38) Link Youtube Videos: If you use Youtube videos to promote your business (which EVERYONE should. Its FREE advertising!) make sure to have a link to your facebook page. If someone enjoys your video, they will want to learn more about you. No better place than Facebook ; ). Just make sure your link is the first thing in your youtube video description.
39) Place Page: If your business has an actual location and you don't just work from home, create a Facebook Places Page. A Places Page allows you to have people "check-in" to your business and has a map to your business's location at the very top of the page. These are just two of the many advantages Place Pages can give you.
40) The "Share" Button: The share button is located at the bottom left hand side of your profile page or fan page. Encourage friends and fans to share your pages for quick growth.
41) Default Landing Tab: Super Important. When people go to your fan pages, Facebook has your default landing tab set as your wall. You can change this tab so people are directed to a custom page with an offer or some sort of advertisement of your choose. This is the Number 1 way to convert visitors into fans!
42) Fan Page Name: Just because you think your fan pages name is catchy or cute, doesn't mean the search engines do. Choose a name that can easily or even better be accidentally found by users. If you can, make the pages name contain the keywords you would want to show up for.
43) Personal and Business Accounts: Make sure to open a business and personal account if your promoting yourself. Your real friends don't want to hear about your work all the time. Be respectful to them. Also, there may be things or friends that don't need to be on your business account if you know what I mean.
44) Spamming Other's Pages: Don't use other leader's pages or people's pages with lots of fans to promote your business. Its bad taste. If the page was designed for that it's one thing, but if not, you should be interacting and not promting on those pages.
45) Giveaways: Facebook is a great platform for contests or giveaways, but be careful, Facebook does not want you giving away prizes or gifts by forcing people to "like", spread, promote, etc. your page. If your caught doing that Facebook will delete your page and/or account. There is a right and wrong way to effectively use giveaways to grow your pages. Special video on this topic.
46) Geo-targeted Friends: If your trying to add friends in a specific location an easy way to do that is by using the mutual friends tool. When Facebook suggests people you might know on the right hand side of your page, you can click "see all". Then, on the left hand side there are options to sort through people by where they live, go to school, work, etc.
47. Facebook Questions: Use Facebook's question statuses to spread your brand virally. When someone answers your question it gets posted to your friends or fans news feed for all their friends to see. So Cool! This is my new FAVORITE fan page marketing tactic. I use it all the time.
Bonus: Facebook Ads: Although this tactic is not free, its the most powerful out of all my tips and tricks. Facebook ads are designed for you to market to actual buyers. You can design an ad by gender, age, school level, relationship status, etc. so you don't waste your money marketing to people who aren't interested in your products and services. They're very cheap and highly effective. Although this is a course on it's own, I will give you a 30 minute "Facebook Ads Ninja Quick Course" when you get the rest of the videos. This 30 minute video will get your business up in front of thousands of laser targeted customers. Get it while you can here...
