Well, of course, you won't find a new referral for you in this article. Sorry about that.

The title of the article is the subject I want to discuss for sure.

When you promote a program, and you receive an email from it saying "You Got A New Referral!", that's good news, of course. If it's a paid referral, it's even better.

However, when you are on things like safelists, or subscribe to marketers' lists that have that as a subject to get your attention, it is annoying.

When it's for real, the site owners don't play around. Here are some examples from emails I have received, i.e. true referrals I have had in the past few days:

Well, apart from BizOppers, the others have clear subjects. You learn fast to look forward to those messages from them. :)
