How I create the eCovers for my APSense special reports

Some time ago, I launched the APSense Insider, a newsletter designed to help APSense members get the most out of every services and features, as well as getting tips to build relationships here.

Earlier today, I wrote a new special report, titled "APSense Tips Vol. 1".

Here is the eCover for it.

If you wonder how I created this eCover, it is so easy.

First, you find an image on the Internet.

There are plenty of free pictures to choose from. Or, you can do as I did for my first 3 reports, and look at pictures at the APSense ShutterBugs community. If you find a picture that inspires you, I'm sure the member who posted it will be delighted that you want to use it. I suggest you mention the member's name in the report you will write, with the member's consent of course.

2nd, think of the report title you will put on the eCover.

3rd, use this free online eCover creator

Go to the myecovermaker website. There is a paid membership which gives you many choices of eCover styles, but for my needs, this style I use is among the free ones.

You can choose from a variety of pictures at the site, but if you do, chances are, other people might have chosen it, so yours won't be unique. That's why I recommend the first step.

In 5 minutes, your eCover will be ready to download on your PC. You can use Paint to resize it, as I did to make it appear in a reasonable size for the article.

If you wish to subscribe to the APSense Insider, you can click on the image.
