Get Your Marketing Noticed

The dilemma, how to actually get noticed for all this hard work I'm doing on a daily basis, sounds simple on the surface and on paper but the reality is quite another thing altogether. People ask me all the time how I get noticed and show up in the first results for my keywords all the time and my answer is consistency, patience and determination. I've trained my brain to accept nothing less than the first, second or third page of the Google results and anything less I take as a personal insult and adjust to climb up the rankings. I remember when The Secret first came out and a lot of people got it and a lot of people ridiculed it. Once I finally took my time to understand what The Secret was really trying to tell me I finally GOT It. The Secret was saying that the truth of the matter is that there are no Secrets, that we've always had the power to control our minds we just didn't know how to tap into that power.

 

I broke Marketing down to its smallest component and found out that the successful people all do the same thing, they're consistant, learn from their mistakes and never ever give up. Its those small things that we do on a daily basis in our Marketing that make a difference in the long run. Yes they are tedious, mind numbingly mundane and rough at times bt when you train your brain that these things must be done, you just do them and move on. In this sea of Marketers you can stand out from the crowd, here's a few techniques I use.

 

. I have a Home Business Named Elite Profit Network and when I get a lead from my autoresponder I waste no time in calling them If they've provided the correct number that is, the reason being is that with all this information overload out here its far too easy to click on something and forget it a minute later so I catch them when the idea is fresh in their mind. My conversation with them is another technique to involved to get into here but I can tell you it involves a technique named Natural Selling, Google it.

 

. I always make it a point to respond to my legitimate e-mails and voice messages ASAP, people need to know they matter and are not an after-thought, If its a potential prospect leaving a voice mail and you don't respond they'll probably think that if you're not answering them right away now you won't answer them right away if they use your product or service.

. I make sure I really listen to people, I honed this technique while learning the Natural Selling modules, trust me when I tell you that its nothing worse than thinking you're listening to someone and only filtering out what you want to hear, you have to tighten up your listening skills and repeat back to the person what they meant or said so they can hear it again as well as you and take notes.

 

In my next post I'll go a little deeper on this subject, If I've learned nothing else from Seth Godin its that you don't have to get long winded with your posts. If I want I can re-visit this post in Notepad, add to it, spin it and turn it into an article or press release, that technique cuts down on a lot of writing and we all want to work smart, not hard.
