My Blogging Goals
I'm being trained to make my blogs meet needs, solve problems and help those who read them in some way, thanks to my sponsor and mentor.
I try to provide tips related to how to use my system. I always consider who will be reading my blogs and what sort of needs they'll have. Will they be looking
for information about my company and products? Do they need news from my industry? Do they have specific problems that I may be able to help them solve?
You never know who you can help by solving a problem, maybe next time they're looking to make a purchase they'll come knocking on your door and tell their network about you.
Some will say that I get too personal with my blogs and my answer to that is that there is no one style to write your blogs in, its my blog and I've developed my own approach.
I like my blogs to lend themselves to a personal style of communication, I don't design my blogs to sell my company, I let my website do that and my link. If people are interested in
what I'm involved in all they have to do is click my signature link at the bottom of my blog, I was taught not to use my blog as sales copy, my blogs do something different. My blogs give
my company a face, voice and personal touch. I have no problem talking about my network marketing and online mishaps because I'm human and I think my readers appreciate the fact that I can relate to them.
I show that my company is much more than a logo, but a company filled with people just like you who after losing thousands of dollars and wasting countless time online that we have found a workable system thats
working for us and can work for anyone else.
I also try to keep a certain level of professionalism because Google and the rest of the search engines keep things indexed forever, even though you think you deleted things, thats why I keep my standards high.
Everything
you publish online will be on the web forever. I'm not completely down on using a blog to sell if its done correctly, Its ok to use a blog to run sales oriented campaigns as long as they're useful they can work but the trick is
to make the blog more useful than just going into a full force selling attitude. If you're providing people with value they don't mind a promotion from time to time, just stay away from the hyped spin talk and you'll be just fine.
I also like to stay consistant with my blogs. I never want to get in a rythm with my blogging and all of a sudden have a prolonged period of silence, that screams inconsistant behavior. If you're new at blogging, 2 or 3 times a wek is plenty.
In closing, blogging isn't all that hard, if you can post in a forum, you can blog, If you can post in a discussion you can blog.
