Wonders are all around us. Nature it self is one of them. it is such a complex system but everything fits wonderful together. 

The greatest wonders of all is the birth of a child. There are so many things that can go wrong during pregnancy that it is a wonder when a child is born healthy.

An other wonder is the spirit of people. Maybe some day they will be able to create artificial life but they will never to be able to create a spirit. A spirit never dies, they live on in the minds of the next generation.

I count my blessings every day, being healthy and having a nice family. I am very proud of my children who are all grown up now, have a good relationship and a good job.

I am even thankful for my youngest who became mentally handicapped due to brain damage of a flu virus when he was two years old. He is still a baby in a grown up body. But he has always a good mood and is laughing all the time. He has no worries and is always happy. Of course it was a big adjustment for us, you have certain expectation when a child is born healthy. The way my husband and I look at it now that is already in heaven; what more can you wish for your child.

The fact our youngest becoming mentally handicapped has had a huge impact on our lives and the lives of our other 2 sons. They grew up while they always needed to adjust and think of the needs of the youngest. I don't want to brag but they are now very social adults who are always prepared to help others.

For this I am grateful and I often thank God for this, i do not need a church building to do that. In my opinion going to church or believing and live as a Christian are two very different things.
