Edit comments at APSense
I know, we can't edit comments at APSense.
However, when you make a mistake in a comment, there is a simple way to correct it:
- Copy the comment you just submitted
- Paste it in a new comment, edit it, submit it
- Delete the comment that had a mistake
The best part is, it will take you less than a minute.
Of course, it you realize your mistake some time later, and it would break the flow of the discussion, It might be better not to delete it, especially if someone responded to your comment.
Else, if you feel correcting the mistake could be a good idea, or would make you look better, go for it !
In my opinion, it is better to follow the 3 steps I suggest instead of posting a new comment with the correction.
That is ok in chat. In comments, it's not bad per se, of course, but you get the idea.
