I really wonder about the convoluted thinking I see online concerning scams and possible scams. People can get slapped in the face with red flags over and over again and they will still either defend the scam or say that they will wait and see while still promoting the scam. Well Let me put it to you like this.

Let's say you go to your local post office and glance at that FBI's Most wanted poster hanging on the wall. In front of you in the line you see someone who looks like one of the people on that poster and they are a serial killer. What are you going to do?

Say oh I'll wait for proof? Your proof is going to be a dead body.

Say but I haven't been hurt? So what someone else is at risk of getting hurt.

Say hey was really nice because he held the door for me? If you talk to people who knew Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy they will tell you how shocked they were when these two men were revealed because they were both very nice, charming men. Yes they hid what they were very well.

It's the same thing with scams.

Wait for proof? The proof comes when people have been scammed and the damage is done. Empty bank accounts, identity theft or God forbid sitting in a jail cell because they were the ones that the authorities could find.

I haven't lost any money? Someone else will whether it's through the scam,defending themselves from legal action or trying to get their life back in order because they are caught in an identity theft nightmare.

I got paid? Do you honestly think that scammer don't know those who have gotten paid are going to be their biggest promoters? Yeah they paid you to motivate you into pulling more people into the scheme so they have more people to fleece.

Think about it. If you wouldn't protect a murderer why would you protect a scammer? When you do you are just as guilty as that scammer you are helping. And since that scammer is going to remain anonymous when the hammer falls, it's your head it's going to fall on. You are after all at this point an accomplice.
