Shortcuts in written communications

I use a few shortcuts when I write posts or comments.

Not everyone knows what they mean. And I sure don't know all of them.

Here are the ones I use most often :

• IMO : In My Opinion
• IMHO : In My Humble Opinion
• BTW : By The Way
• ASAP : As Soon As Possible
• WTG : Way To Go
• BRB : Be Right Back ( used in chat )
• PPC : Pay Per Click
• MLM : Multi-Level Marketing
• TKS : Thanks
• K : Ok
• Ta : Thanks
• Np : No Problem
• WIIFM : What's In It For Me
• LOL : Laughing Out Loud
• ROFL : Rolling On The Floor Laughing

And of course, there are the smilies. More and more, the sites provide a box where all we have to is click on the appropriate smilie. But if it's not the case, here are the keyboard characters I use most often. There are much more than that, of course, these are the ones I remember :

• The simple smile =>    :)
• The big smile =>           :D
• The wink =>                    ;)
• The tongue =>               :p
• Variations on the smile  =>    :-)   8-)
