If you wash your tyres with soapy water, make sure you rinse them properly. If you live in a place where sunlight is low then use a hair dryer at low temperatures to rinse the tyres. Avoid using any kind of petroleum-based cleaner like oil, gasoline or solvent which could react with the rubber compounds and cause tyres to break down.
