What If You Owned the Platform Instead of Just a Channel?
Most of us who market online spend a lot of time building on platforms owned by somebody else.
We build websites, social profiles, video channels, mailing lists, and audiences. Those tools are valuable, but I've been thinking about the next level:
What if you owned the platform itself?
That's the idea behind what we've been building with ChannelStarter.
Instead of launching only a single streaming channel, ChannelStarter White Label makes it possible to launch a branded streaming network without having to develop the entire technology infrastructure from scratch.
Think about the difference:
You could have your own brand.
Creators could launch channels on your network.
Those channels could publish and schedule programming.
Viewers could discover content across the platform.
And instead of your business existing entirely inside somebody else's ecosystem, the network itself carries your identity.
For entrepreneurs and marketers, I think that's an interesting shift in perspective.
We're all accustomed to asking:
"How do I get more traffic to my offer?"
But another question is:
"What am I actually building with all of that traffic?"
If you've spent years learning advertising, traffic generation, content creation, affiliate marketing, or audience building, imagine putting those same skills behind a platform of your own.
That's what I'm working on now.
If the idea of building your own streaming network business interests you, you can take a look here:

I'd also be interested in hearing what other marketers think about the idea of moving from simply promoting on platforms to actually owning the platform behind the business.
