Many large avians, wetland birds and some smaller, fast-flying species are prone to colliding with overhead power lines. A high segment of these are threatened species and for some, collision with power lines and other man-made structures proves to be a significant and damaging source of avian mortality. Nowadays this is a big problem worldwide, many bird life-saving corporates /societies are trying to rectify these concerns in collaboration with topmost researchers/scientists to mitigate the negative effects of overhead lines on bird populations...
