The Cortana menu critical error is the most common error reported by the Windows user. This error blocks the start menu and Cortana completely which makes using Windows extremely painful and impractical. Although it is a popular belief that this error is caused by Avast or any other Antivirus. This in fact is not true. This error is solely caused by a bug in Windows 10. Make sure that you are updated with the Avast antivirus before attempting the solution mentioned below.
