People Looking To earn from home

I have found that everyone claims that they want to make money from home. However, when you present them with a opportunity they are scare to try it. Why is this? Do they simply want you to do the work for them? Or are they afraid to fail? Which ever the answer is people need to step up and take control of their own destiny. I want to create a team of individuals who are willing to help each other make money using only free resources that I have and will find in the future. What are your thoughts about this?
