Bhangeli is a little hamlet in the Garhwal Himalayas, situated on a steep slope overlooking the Uttarkashi-Gangotri Highway. The village offers magnificent views of the Srikantha Peak and the Bhagirathi River. Most village homes are wooden alpine huts covered with slate roofs.
