Universal Viewer (ATViewer)

I'll start with series of software reviews. Here I am presenting this, let's say very universal tool, which is called Universal Viewer (AT Viewer). This lightweight software (750 kb) can be very useful tool for non-techie-persons, who have a hard time to remember file associations. Why? This versatile piece of software can virtually open almost all file formats which are in average usage at home and at work. This file viewer can open PDFs, Fonts, flash (flv and swf) formats, Microsoft Office formats (doc, xls, ppt), images (bmp, jpg, tiff, gif, tga, png, etc...), music (mp3, midi, wma) and video (avi, mpg, wmv). Universal viewer can be also used as a web browser or HTML code editor. Unfortunately, the format which can't be viewed with Universal Viewer is Microsoft Project.       ATViewer is full unicode compatible and can be integrated into WindowsExplorer right-click menu. While you can open almost all common formats, you can include support for additional file formats by downloading free file viewer plugins. So, you can download the tool here.
