Does Free Advertising work?

I am curious. How many people are using free advertising and is it working for their business? I am using it and think it is great but it doesn't seem to take effect here at apsense at all. So what types of advertising are you using?

If you know where to advertise for free do it! I had NO money to advertise when I first started my internet mission about 7 years ago. Guess what? Here I am still advertising for free, and it's worked the whole time!

Hi Bob, In response to your post concerning "Free Advertising", I say that any and all advertising is good but I do everything from flyers to emailing everyone on my personal email list and much more. I am in the process of giving up on my FreeWeb sites : one, because they only hold so much info, two, because the search engines don't pay much attention to them.
