Christmas is a time to reflect on the things that matter and the meaning of the celebration. It's not the perfect day, it's not the perfect holiday.
It is, however the meaning behind the celebration that makes me happy.
My immediate family spends time in worship first thing in the morning, then we gather as family at my parents home to remind one another of the beauty of this celebration. We pray as family, then share a meal in remembrance of the Savior of the world.
We open presents to one another, eat cookies, treats of all kinds, and eat more of the meal until we're stuffed and ready for a nap. :-)

Our family appreciates the reason behind the season and we try to celebrate accordingly.
