According to a study conducted by financial protection solution providers Friends Provident International (FPI), debt and saving for retirement still pose a challenge for foreign residents in the country. But that has not reduced the appeal of the U.A.E. to its sizeable expat population.
About 65% of expatriates who currently live in the country wish to make the U.A.E. their permanent home, the FPI survey showed.
